[KARE 11, August 21, 2019] As many as two million people are expected to make their way to the Minnesota State Fair over the next 12 days (August 22nd – September 2nd). And, many of them may over-indulge on all the delicious items that the 300 different food stands will offer.
Amy Pleimling, a registered dietitian with Allina Health, says “Enjoy the fair! Plan to have a higher calorie day and try to offset that with more exercise in the days that follow. Planning can help you be more thoughtful about what you’re going to eat.”
