Snoring and the risk for women's heart health

[KARE 11, December 21, 2018] If you’re a woman and snore at night, you may have a higher risk of having a heart attack or stroke. New research reveals women with obstructive sleep apnea are more prone to heart disease.

Dr. Andrew Stiehm, a sleep specialist at Allina Health United Lung and Sleep Clinic, talked with KARE 11 to explain how to spot “dangerous” snoring from normal snoring, as well as the best ways to treat it.
