[Isanti County News, June 06, 2018] For over 27 years, Cambridge artist Marilyn Cuellar has been displaying and selling her artwork at art fairs across the state and the Midwest.

Her next art show, titled “Celebrate a Year of Art,” opening June 19 at Cambridge Medical Center, is a very personalized art show that will depict 10 graphite portraits based on her travels over the years throughout Minnesota, to Italy for vacations and to Africa to visit her daughter who had been serving in the Peace Corps.

An opening gallery reception, hosted by the Cambridge Medical Center Foundation, will be held from 3-6 p.m. June 19 with a program and artist’s talk at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served and there will be musical entertainment. Guests should enter through the Cambridge Medical Center’s hospital entrance.

Also during the gallery reception, Cambridge Medical Center will announce its intention to be an areawide center for art, providing a venue for artists to display their work in curated shows. Currently, the halls of Cambridge Medical Center display different types of artwork, with most available for purchase. Read the full story at https://www.hometownsource.com/isanti_county_news/.
