How can you watch the eclipse safely?

[WCCO-TV, August 15, 2017] Make sure you have eclipse-watching-approved glasses if you plan on looking directly at the sun during the eclipse next Monday. Eye retina specialist, Dr. Geoff Emerson, of Allina's Phillips Eye Institute, warns that even a few seconds looking at the sun without protecting your eye can permanently damage your eyes. He explained to WCCO-TV News.
