Mercy Hospital – Unity Campus celebrates Emergency Medical Services Week

[Sun Focus, June 4, 2017] Emergency medical service personnel and emergency service officials gathered Wednesday, May 24 at Mercy Hospital – Unity Campus to recognize local paramedics, healthcare providers, firefighter, and police officers, kicking off National Emergency Medical Services Week.

To celebrate EMS Week, hospital officials fired up the grill and treated emergency responders to hot dogs and burgers.

“These people are our partners,” said Melanie Gullixson, emergency department patient care manager. “They bring us our patients and help us in our time of need. They are here for our community and we are here for them.” Read the full story at focus.mnsun.com.
