Look out for heart attacks around the holidays

[KMSP Fox 9, December 28, 2016] The recent celebrity deaths of Carrie Fisher and Alan Thicke have brought renewed attention to heart health, especially over the holidays.

Dr. Alex Campbell, a cardiologist at the Minneapolis Heart Institute, says cardiac arrest can come without warning. Studies have shown deadly heart attacks increase in the winter months, with some indication they spike around Christmas and New Year’s Day.
