What new blood pressure guidelines mean for you

[KARE-TV, December 15, 2015] A recent study found that 120 may be the new blood pressure to aim for down from the 140 that is now recommended. Dr. Michael Miedema from the Minneapolis Heart Institute at Abbott Northwestern was at the American Heart Association meeting where this study was introduced. He joined us at KARE 11 News at 4 to talk about what this could mean for the millions of people with high blood pressure and how it could impact treatment moving forward.
