[WCCO-AM and KSTP-TV, January 01, 0001] Cancer experts agreed with actress and filmmaker Angelina Jolie's decision to have her ovaries and Fallopian tubes removed because she carries a genetic mutation BRCA1 that significantly increases the risk of ovarian cancer. In Minnesota, Michaela Tsai, MD, a breast cancer researcher and hematologist and oncologist with the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, said surgery is the best way to prevent ovarian cancer. Dr. Tsai was interviewed by WCCO-AM and KSTP-TV:
